SA Magpies - Footy Tipping Competition

Text Box: FOOTY TIPPING COMPETITION It’s back for season 2008! SA Magpies unique footy tipping comp, where tipping the Pies is compulsory! The format will remain the same as last season whereby tips will be entered each week with the first game of the round being the designated winning margin game. Simply e-mail, sms or phone your tips through including your winning margin for game 1 and you’re done! Each week we will announce a $20 prize winner for the most correct tips and closet to the actual margin as well as cash prizes at the seasons end for first, second and third. Entry cost is $20 (only need to win one round to get your money back!) so if you’re interested register now! The Rules: Pick Collingwood, then select your 7 other winners. Pick the margin of the first game of the round. If more than one tipster has the same number of winners and the same margin, the weekly prize will be split. At the end of the Home & Away season, if there are multiple tipsters with the same number of tips, the prizes will be split. People failing to submit their tips on time will be awarded the equal lowest number of tips for the round. The road to the AFL Grand Final is not for the faint-hearted. As selector and coach of your very own footy team, you'll need to stay within the salary cap to draft your squad of 30 players from the entire 2007 playing list. Your team scores points based on the stats of the actual, individual performances of your players for every round. We are looking to set up our own private SAM members league within in this competition. As well as bragging rights within the group every participant will have a chance to win the fantastic prizes on offer from the AFL and their sponsors. For those who have played before you would know how addictive this game can be, yet it is easy enough to jump straight into and have loads of fun competing against the other teams.
